At What Point Does It Go from Observation to Voyeurism?

I accidentally watched two people bang in an apartment for a while and this really begs the question… at what point (if any) do I become a pervert?

No — this is not what I saw and is only here for illustration purposes. Taking a photo would definitely have crossed the line into pervert territory.

I know. I can hear you scoff ‘accidentally?’ in judgy internal voices but I think it’s fair to point out that if I did actually fancy watching people get their freak on, I could access loads of free porn by clicking a button. Some of those clips are by trained professionals with bleached butt holes and everything… (or so I hear). Rumor has it that porn can be found for free on the internet if one is inclined to search.

Anyway, I was at a friend’s apartment in Newmarket in Auckland and a group of us were having a few drinks. It was quite warm so I drifted outside onto the balcony and pondered the world for a bit while sipping a lovely Pinot Gris. The apartment is quite high up and looked over a few other apartments.

My eyes were drifting when I semi-noticed some activity happening in one of the apartments but I was thinking about a bunch of things and the bouncing and flailing didn’t really register with me. My eyes just happened to be aimed in that direction while my brain wandered when my friend came out to join me at the rail.
